Users can select from five distinct waveforms: saw, square, triangle, sine, and theremin wave, along with an octave shift option. In 1928, Maurice Martenot introduced one of the first electronic musical instruments, the Ondes-Martenot. While similar in sound to the theremin, it offered a distinct user interaction through a slider on a cord. Subsequently, in the 1950s, Paul Tanner developed the Tannerin (also known as the Electro-Theremin), which utilized similar slider controls for pitch modulation. The Tannerin played a significant role in iconic recordings including The Beach Boys’ "Good Vibrations."
